My name is Tulika Bhardwaj, and I am a Group Tutor at Alder Tree.

I’m a compassionate and nurturing Steiner-Waldorf teacher with a wealth of experience, knowledge, and wisdom. I have worked with children of various age groups in a multitude of settings, including non-profit organisations, children’s hospitals, schools; across geographies (India, USA, U.K.).

My gentle and warm demeanour make me approachable and supportive, creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for my students.

I discovered Waldorf Education through my eldest child, who attended a Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten in London. The healing impulse of Waldorf Education, which fosters an overall healthy development of the child, has always fascinated me.

My passion for Steiner education has driven me to continuously deepen my knowledge and expertise in the field. I have a Diploma in Waldorf Education from the London Waldorf Seminar.

I’m keen to find ways and means to make Waldorf Education, especially the arts (Modelling, Painting, Drawing, Music, Drama) accessible to children locally and globally.

I have volunteered my time to set up community-based parent-child groups to offer Steiner Waldorf seasonal crafts. I also offer my skills and time to schools, community, and children centres.

I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development and I am always seeking new ways to enhance my teaching practice. I recently completed a CPD course at Emerson College U.K. – Uprightness: Trauma Informed Approach to working with children in refugee camps, disaster areas.

With my deep understanding of child development and my ability to connect with each student on a personal level, I create a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging. My ability to inspire and motivate students has earned me the respect and admiration of both my colleagues and students.

I hold a Masters in Ecology and Environment, B.Sc in Microbiology. I’m a certified Reiki Master, Certified Infant Massage Instructor from the IAIM, U.K.

I enjoy cooking, long walks and travelling.
